   On-site technical survey

   A qualified technician inspects the water system, maps all risk points and drafts a sampling plan aligned with the Italian State-Regions Agreement 2015 and your facility's specific risk profile.

   Chain-of-custody sampling

   Water samples are collected under a documented chain of custody using standardised aseptic procedures. Volumes, temperatures and locations are recorded in full.

   ISO/IEC 17025 laboratory analysis

   Samples are analysed by an ACCREDIA-accredited partner laboratory using the UNI EN ISO 11731:2017 culture method — the Italian and European reference standard for compliance-grade Legionella enumeration.

   Signed certified test report

   The accredited laboratory issues a signed test report with quantitative results in CFU/L for each sample point, formatted for Italian health authority (ASL) audits.

   Operational report

   We deliver a plain-language operational report interpreting results against the ISS national risk thresholds, with a graded corrective-action plan and revised monitoring schedule.

• Number of sample points

  The primary cost driver. Italian guidelines specify minimum sampling locations by facility type — hotels, nursing homes and industrial facilities typically require more points than a small condominium or dental clinic.

• System complexity

  Facilities with cooling towers, spa circuits, multiple water heaters or large dead-leg networks require more technician time on-site and more laboratory analyses.

• Monitoring frequency

  Annual, semi-annual or quarterly sampling schedules are priced differently. Framework contracts for multi-site hotel chains include volume discounts and fixed annual costs.

• Geographic location

  Travel costs for remote or island locations (Sardinia, Sicily, Alpine resorts) may apply. Major city centres — Milan, Rome, Naples, Florence — are covered at standard rates.

• Urgency

  Standard lead time from quote to sampling is 5–10 business days. Expedited scheduling for pre-opening protocols or post-incident investigations is available at a supplement.

• Documentation scope

  If an updated DVR Legionella (risk assessment file) or a gap analysis against Italian regulatory requirements is included, the engagement cost increases accordingly.
